Spanish omelette, a classic of Venta Magullo

Oscar Calle gives us the recipe for this classic Spanish tapa. One of the star products of traditional Spanish gastronomy.

The Magullo Sale recipes Ingredients for 4 people:

  • 4 medium potatoes
  • 5 eggs
  • ½ onion
  • Olive oil Salt Elaboration
  1. Peel the potatoes and cut them into half slices.
  2. Add salt and put to fry with plenty of olive oil.
  3. To part to chop the onion finely and to put it to fry in oil.
  4. When both preparations are ready join them.
  5. Put them to drain. Beat the eggs and put the drained potato together with the onion in the eggs.
  6. Let it fluff in the egg.
  7. Put a pinch of salt. Heat a pan and add the potato and egg mixture.
  8. Leave to curdle and turn around.
  9. Serve hot.
